📦 Pickup & Collection
Do you offer door-to-door pickup?

Is there a minimum quantity for pickup?
For doorstep pickup, we typically require a minimum quantity to make the logistics viable. For smaller quantities, you are welcome to drop off e-waste directly at our collection centre at Shop No 7, Sharda Plaza, 342 Rasta Peth, Pune 411011. Please call us first so we can assist you on arrival.

Do you accept broken or non-functional equipment?
Absolutely. We accept all electronic equipment regardless of its working condition — broken, outdated, or end-of-life devices are all welcome. In fact, non-functional equipment is exactly what we specialise in recycling responsibly.
Do you accept items from individual households?
Yes. While our primary focus is corporate and institutional clients, we also accept e-waste from households. You can drop off items at our collection centre or contact us to find out if a pickup can be arranged.
🔐 Data Security
How do you ensure our data is securely destroyed?
Data security is a top priority. Before any equipment is recycled, all storage devices (hard drives, SSDs, memory cards) undergo secure data wiping or physical destruction as required. We follow industry best practices to ensure no data can be recovered from any device we process.
Do you provide a Certificate of Data Destruction?
Yes. Upon request, we issue a Certificate of Data Destruction / Erasure for all storage media processed. This is especially important for corporate clients with compliance and audit requirements. Please ask us for this documentation when booking a pickup.
📋 Compliance & Certification
Are you an authorised e-waste recycler?
Yes. OM Recycling is an authorised WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycler. We hold all necessary government authorisations and operate in compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and related CPCB regulations. Our authorisation ensures that your e-waste is recycled legally and responsibly.
Do you provide a recycling certificate for compliance purposes?
Yes. We provide recycling certificates and documentation that you can use for your own CSR reporting, ESG compliance, WEEE producer obligations, and internal audits. Please request this when arranging your collection.
Can you help us meet our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations?
Yes. We work with WEEE producers, importers, and brand owners to help fulfil their EPR obligations under India’s e-waste regulations. Contact us to discuss how we can support your compliance programme.
💰 Pricing
Is pickup free?
Pickup is free of charge for qualifying bulk quantities. For very small quantities or locations outside our standard service area, a nominal collection fee may apply. Contact us to discuss your requirements and get a clear quote upfront — there are no hidden charges.
Do you pay for old equipment?
In some cases, yes. For larger quantities of equipment that still has residual value (such as bulk IT assets), we may offer a buyback or offset credit. This depends on the type, age, and condition of the equipment. Contact us with details of what you have and we will assess accordingly.
🌿 Environmental Impact
Why should I recycle e-waste instead of throwing it away?
Electronic devices contain hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and brominated flame retardants. When disposed of in landfills, these toxins leach into soil and groundwater, causing serious environmental and health damage. Responsible recycling recovers valuable materials — gold, copper, aluminium — and prevents hazardous substances from entering the environment.
Is it illegal to throw away e-waste in India?
Yes. Under India’s E-Waste (Management) Rules, improper disposal of electronic waste is prohibited. Producers, consumers, and businesses are required to channel e-waste only through authorised recyclers like OM Recycling. Recycling with us keeps you on the right side of the law.
