Our Process

How We Recycle Your E-Waste
At OM Recycling, we follow a structured, government-compliant process to ensure that every piece of e-waste is handled safely and responsibly. Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how we process your electronic waste:
Step 1: Collection & Pickup
We arrange door-to-door pickup of e-waste from your premises — whether you are a corporate office, institution, or individual. Our trained team handles all packaging and loading to ensure safe transportation. We are capable of collecting e-waste from anywhere across India.
Step 2: Secure Data Destruction
Before any physical processing, all storage media such as hard drives, SSDs, and magnetic tapes undergo certified data wiping or degaussing. This ensures that no confidential information can ever be recovered, keeping your business and personal data fully secure.
Step 3: Sorting & Segregation
At our warehouse facility, all collected e-waste is systematically sorted by type — computers, monitors, mobile devices, batteries, cables, and other electronic components. This step ensures efficient downstream processing and maximum material recovery.
Step 4: Dismantling
Sorted equipment is carefully dismantled by hand to separate reusable parts from waste. Components that can be refurbished or reused are set aside, reducing the volume of material that requires further processing and minimising environmental impact.
Step 5: Shredding & Processing
Remaining material is mechanically shredded and processed to separate metals, plastics, and other raw materials. Valuable materials such as copper, aluminium, and precious metals are recovered for recycling, while hazardous materials are disposed of in strict compliance with MPCB and CPCB guidelines.
Step 6: Responsible Disposal & Certification
All processed materials are channelled to authorised downstream recyclers. Once the process is complete, we provide a Certificate of Recycling for your records — essential for producers and businesses to demonstrate compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016.
